Care.com Work-Life Support

UT Austin employees can activate a Care.com employee account using their university email. Once activated, employees can:

  • Search for vetted caregivers and services
  • Access employer-provided caregiving support resources
  • Use the LifeMart employee discount platform for savings on everyday purchases

Care.com is designed to make it easier for employees to find trusted support for their caregiving and household needs while balancing work and personal responsibilities.

How to log into Care.com

Care.com provides 24/7 access to 1 on 1 expert support for all of life’s distractions and major decisions. Areas of services include childcare, eldercare, and petcare. 

Step One: Begin enrollment on the website here. 

Step Two: Follow the prompts to create your account.

Step Three: Use the Care.com homepage moving forward to access your benefits.

LifeMart Employee Discounts (Powered by Care.com) 

LifeMart provides savings on everyday purchases and special experiences, including travel, entertainment, fitness memberships, electronics, home services, and more. 

How to Access LifeMart 

To use LifeMart discounts, you must first activate your UT Austin Care.com account. 

Step 1: Activate Your Care.com Account 

  • Register using your UT Austin email address. 

  • Complete the account activation process. 

Step 2: Log In to LifeMart 

  • Once your Care.com account is active, log in. 

  • Scroll down to the LifeMart section within the platform. 

  • Browse available discounts and follow vendor instructions to redeem offers. 

Tips for Getting the Most from LifeMart 

  • Search by category (travel, local deals, electronics, etc.) to quickly find relevant discounts. 

  • Compare offers before purchasing to maximize savings. 

  • Review details and expiration dates for each promotion.

2025 Commuter Subsidy Program

Staff members working a minimum of 30 hours per week, making an annualized salary of $60,000 or less for FY25-26, and who work on-site at least 3 days per week will receive a subsidy of $300.  Staff members working a minimum of 30 hours per week, making an annualized salary of $60,001-$80,000 as of 9/3/2025, and who work on-site at least 3 days per week will receive a subsidy of $200.
