The University of Texas Austin provides different options for employees seeking discounts and affordable rates on a variety of services and products and also provides access to value-added services like finding childcare through our partnerships.
LifeMart for Discounts
LIfeMart is the home for all of the University’s discount offerings for employees featuring a wide variety of options from food delivery, to car rentals, cell phone services, car buying, and home security. Add offers to your “favorites” to easily find them again when you need them in the future. LifeMart is powered by Care.com. To access LifeMart, you must first register with Care.com
2024 Commuter Subsidy Program
On Aug. 14, President Hartzell announced that the University has expanded on the annual Commuter Subsidy program this year to include approximately 8,000 of our staff members. Eligibility starts as of Sept. 3, 2024. Program information and eligibility criteria: Community Subsidy program page.
