Recreational Sports Texercise

Texercise is a paid access pass to RecSports classes with in-person and virtual pass options.

Wellness Champions

Wellness Champions are UT Austin faculty and staff who promote health and wellness within their unit and share feedback from their unit to improve wellness programming.

Longhorn Wellness Center

The Longhorn Wellness Center (LWC) supports the missions of University Health Services and the Counseling and Mental Health Center by addressing priority college health issues. They use multi-level, evidence-based prevention strategies such as peer education, social marketing, social norm campaigns, environmental changes, and strategic campus partnerships.

Occupational Health

The Occupational Health Program (OHP) partners with the employee, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), and Human Resources (HR) to understand working conditions and to ensure that precautions are taken to protect the university’s most valuable asset—our employees.

UT Wellness Network

UT Wellness Network is a campus coalition committed to assessing and addressing the health and wellness needs of students, staff, and faculty at UT Austin. Signature initiatives include topic-focused committees, an annual event, and connections through the Network.

Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC)

The Counseling and Mental Health Center (CMHC) provides in-person and virtual counseling, psychiatric consultation, and prevention services that facilitate students' academic and life goals and enhance their personal growth and well-being.

Walk In Clinic (Formally the Worklife Clinic)

Walk in Clinic for same-day appointments for a wide range of non-emergent illnesses and injuries, from colds and flu to allergies, minor cuts, sprains, and strains, 18 years old and older. Hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., located in the first floor of the Health Transformation Building, 1601 Trinity St. Paid Parking is available Health Center Garage.

UTHA (please differentiate it from Dell Med)

UT Health Austin (UTHA) is the outpatient clinical arm of Dell Medical School. It includes adult specialty and primary care services within the Health Transformation Building (HTB) and adult and pediatric partnering programs with Ascension Seton and Dell Children's Medical Center.

Hinge Health is a coach-led digital program for those suffering from chronic back, knee, hip, or shoulder pain

Healthyhorns

Healthyhorns represents UT's Longhorn Wellness Center, Counseling and Mental Health Center, and University Health Services.

Living Well

The Living Well goal is to enable UT System employees, retirees, and dependents to take charge of their health and develop their wellness programs through physical, mental, and emotional resources.

Care.com

Benefits-eligible employees can access discounts on groceries, hotels, rental cars, theme parks, tickets, electronics, and more.

BCBS

Medical insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas is included for full-time employees of the university and can be purchased by part-time employees. There are various costs if employees desire to purchase coverage for dependents or spouses. You can view a summary of costs associated with medical insurance at the link below.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

At the HealthPoint Employee Assistance Program, we strive to transform lives to improve personal and organizational effectiveness for the benefit of the entire UT community. We provide behavioral health expertise, promote wellness, and develop solutions to life's challenges.

HealthPoint

HealthPoint provides employees and their family members with resources and referrals to assist with physical health, mental health, and wellness needs. They provide referrals for childcare, adoption, pregnancy, summer camps, legal and financial concerns, short-term care, gym facilities, and additional programs. They also provide several discounts and deals for being a UT Austin employee. They hold virtual and in-person workshops; for example, they provide Free FIT Institute classes that train employees on preventative behaviors and exercises.

Gregory Gym

To access Gregory Gym, UT Staff can purchase a RecSports membership for $20-26 a month for the membership alone. Additional items such as a pass for TeXercise, a Locker, Massage Services, Climbing Wall, or Towel service have additional fees that can be added to your membership. Gregory Gym is typically open from 6 a.m. - 1 p.m. all week.

MDLive

MDLive is an app constructed for virtual visits with doctors anytime, anywhere, 24/7, for non-emergency medical and behavioral issues, including Primary care, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and family medicine, therapists, psychiatrists, and licensed counselors
