Mini-Grants

The HealthPoint Wellness Mini-Grant provides funds to support efforts that help faculty and staff care for their well-being during the workday.
These grants are meant to make it easier for people to build small, sustainable habits that support how they feel, function, and connect at work. Rather than focusing on “right” or “wrong” behaviors, the goal is to create environments where well-being feels more possible and supports day to day.

We take a whole-person approach to well-being—recognizing that how people feel and function at work is shaped by multiple, connected dimensions of well-being.
Initiatives should:

  • Support practical, realistic ways employees can care for their well-being at work
  • Reflect a whole-person approach, recognizing that different aspects of well-being are connected
  • Create opportunities for movement, rest, nourishment, learning, connection, and stress management
  • Help reduce common barriers to well-being in the workplace
  • Be accessible to and benefit at least 15 employees (this can include multiple departments in a shared space.

Examples may include:

  • Shared standing workstations or workspace adjustments that support comfort and movement
  • AED/CPR training opportunities
  • Resources for quiet or restoration spaces
  • Equipment that supports stretching, mobility, or light activity (e.g., yoga mats, resistance bands, foam rollers)
  • Tools that support relaxation, mindfulness, or connection during the workday

Applications are taken in June each year and grants awarded at the end of July.
